The holy month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr are meaningful moments, not only as festive occasions but also as opportunities to rekindle the spirit of togetherness and social care.

In welcoming this important religious celebration for Muslims, PT Phoenix Resources International (PRI), through its Community Development program, once again organized a series of activities aimed at sharing blessings and happiness with communities surrounding the company.

This initiative, titled “Sharing Blessings in the Holy Month of Ramadan,” has become an annual tradition of PRI. The series of activities began with a collective prayer event attended by dozens of orphans and underprivileged children.

The event was held at Baitul Amin Mosque, Perum PNS RT 21, Juata Permai Subdistrict, on February 17, 2026. Participants included children from Panti Dhuafa Juata Permai, Ahmad Dahlan Orphanage, Ar Rokhimin Orphanage, as well as children living around the company’s area.

As in previous years, the program continued with PRI’s Ramadan Safari, featuring communal iftar (breaking the fast) gatherings with local residents at mosques near the company’s operational area.

These activities took place at At Tahan Mosque (RT 02), Ar Rahman Mosque (RT 18, Juata Permai), and Surau Gadang Mosque (RT 64, Karang Anyar Subdistrict).

Ari Ristanti, Head of Community Development at PT PRI, explained that the initiative aims to strengthen bonds of friendship and solidarity, particularly with communities surrounding the company.

“This activity reflects our care and appreciation for the community. During this holy month of Ramadan, we hope the strong relationship we have built continues to grow and be filled with blessings,” she said.

Dozens of Residents Receive Eid Gift Packages

In addition, to celebrate the upcoming Eid al-Fitr, PT PRI through its Community Development program distributed more than 90 Eid gift packages to underprivileged residents living near the company.

This social initiative, titled “Ramadan Sharing,” was carried out from March 1 to March 17, 2026, across RT 1, 2, 18, and 21 in Juata Permai Subdistrict, as well as three neighborhood units in the Phoenix Residence area, Pasir Putih, Karang Anyar Subdistrict.

Ari Ristanti expressed hope that the distributed packages would provide benefits and encouragement as residents prepare to celebrate Eid.

“We hope these gift packages can complement the joy of welcoming Eid al-Fitr,” she concluded. (*)
