Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor manual milling and shaper machines to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, drilling, boring, and finishing of components.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and part specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting of milling and shaper machines.
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Coordinate with maintenance teams or engineers when custom or urgent machining tasks are required for plant equipment breakdowns.
