Responsibilities
- Disassemble mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and other plant machinery, to inspect for wear, damage, and performance degradation.
- Recondition or replace worn-out parts such as seals, bearings, shafts, housings, gears, and pistons.
- Perform functional and performance testing on rebuilt equipment to verify that it meets operational standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized rebuild workshop, ensuring proper storage and handling of parts and tools.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and reconditioning activities, including work orders, parts used, and testing results.
- Work closely with other maintenance team members, engineers, and production staff to ensure the timely and efficient rebuilding of equipment.
